MEET THE FOUNDER

Ted T. Devine is the founder of 1World Sports and serves as the organization's Executive Chairman and CEO. Ted brings a unique combination of global executive management experience as well as a strong passion for kids and sports. Ted leads the 1World Sports leadership team which includes a Global Executive Committee and Board of Directors in fulfilling 1World Sports' mission of educating, motivating and inspiring youth through sports to become better athletes but more importantly to become better people. As he notes, "at 1World we are driven to make people better athletes and athletes better people".

Prior to founding 1World Sports, Ted was a senior executive at Aon Corporation, the world's largest insurance brokerage firm with offices in 123 countries. At Aon, Ted held consecutive assignments in leadership roles at the company's two largest divisions as President of Aon Risk Services (over $5 billion in revenue and 28,000 global employees) and as CEO of Aon Re (over $1 billion in revenue). Prior to Aon, Ted was a Director at McKinsey & Company where he spent 12 years working to improve the performance of Fortune 500 companies. Ted earned a master of business administration from the Booth School of Business (University of Chicago) and a bachelor of arts from Michigan State University.

More importantly, Ted is a proud father and coach. He and his wife have three wonderful children who all play and love sports. He spends many evenings coaching girls hockey for a team that holds both state and local division titles. Ted also has a strong history as a student-athlete, playing football, hockey and baseball in high school and serving on the crew team at Michigan State University. More recently, Ted climbed Mt. Rainer and Mt. Mauna Loa.
